Do you take insurance?
Yes, I am currently in-network for Blue Cross Blue Shield BCBS PPO, Blue Choice, and United/Optum; Please check with your insurance network for your specific benefits information and needed Prior-authorization. Out of network fees are paid at the time of service.
What about privacy?
Upside Counseling P.C. takes your privacy extremely seriously and wants you to understand exactly how, where, and when your records may be released under the HIPPA law. In general, your signature is required for any releases of information but there are some legal exceptions/restrictions that will be explained to you before services are provided. We utilize a secure off-site HIPPA compliant Electronic Medical Records system and Secure Patient Portal to ensure the security of appointments, records, and communication. Please read Notice of Privacy Rights HIPPA, consent, and office policy forms for more specific information.
In order to comply with HIPPA regulations and avoid unauthorized data access, all private data is handled through a separate secure encrypted platform the client portal. Upside Counseling P.C. and its website do not collect, retain, or sell for marketing any user data of any kind in any form.
